ESA Information

Welcome! If you are a homeschool family that utilizes an ESA or other government or scholarship-based funds to purchase your homeschool curriculum, you can find all information related to using those funds on this page.

Below, we have listed the programs we are either approved for, have applied to, or for whom reimbursements are allowed (with proof of purchase).

If your state program is not listed below and you would like us to apply to be an eligible vendor, then please Contact Us. Please be sure to apply to your state's program before making any purchases. The Gentle + Classical Press is not responsible for guaranteeing reimbursements through any program.

It is the customer's responsibility to understand how your state's program works, to make sure you qualify and are approved, and to verify reimbursement before making a purchase.

If your state currently uses the "Odyssey" interface for implementation, please search our product names OR look for the shop "Daily Skill Building." Many of our digital products are available through that shop (as a wholesaler). Physical products are NOT available through Odyssey unless your state allows you to purchase and request a reimbursement. You'll need to verify this first.

West Virginia: Products are currently being purchased from us for WV Hope Scholarship recipients via Student First Tech. Your files can only be accessed if Student First Tech includes YOUR name in the notes section upon making the purchase. They are consistently doing this, but we are adding this disclaimer so that you're aware that your name/email must match what they input in the notes upon checking out.

How to Use:

We are considered "Direct Pay" by ClassWallet. That means that you'll need to request an invoice from us to submit to them. Then, once approved and payment is processed, we can fulfill the order.

Request an invoice by clicking the green "?" in the bottom right corner of your screen. When reaching out, please send:

Your name
Your FULL shipping address
Your child's name (that the material is for)
Which exact items from our shop you want including DIGITAL OR PRINT selections (you can send us a screenshot of your cart if you want to) and quantities if applicable
If you have more than one child that you are requesting the material for, then have the children's products under each of their names

We will create an invoice for you. That invoice will be emailed TO YOU. You will then need to upload the invoice to your own ESA portal. We do not submit this to your ESA on your behalf.

Once approved, after we receive payment, we will mark the invoice as paid which will trigger the digital and/or physical delivery of the order. WE CANNOT SHIP OR EMAIL PRODUCTS UNTIL WE RECEIVE PAYMENT FROM YOUR ESA. We are also unable to affect how quickly or IF your requests are approved.

Approval Not Required (reimbursement eligible):

Ohio Afterschool Child Enrichment ACE (declined from their official list for not satisfying their requirements for a commercial address)
Montana (for parents of a child with a disability)

We are currently unable to participate in: Utah, Wyoming, and North Carolina, due to their requirements. If you have questions about whether your purchase from us qualifies for reimbursement from your state’s program, you will have to reach out to your state’s ESA program. We are unable to answer those questions.
