Explore the World Through Geography, Culture, Missions + Meaningful Family Learning
Give your children a richer understanding of the people and places of our world while nurturing curiosity, compassion, and a heart for God's global Church.
On Mission Around the World is a 36-week, Christ-centered geography and cultures curriculum for grades 1–5 that takes your family continent by continent through 12 countries around the world.
Through beautifully illustrated magazines, living stories, maps, art, music, literature, zoology, ecology, history, and hands-on activities, children encounter each country as far more than a location on a map. They'll learn about the people who live there, the languages they speak, the foods they grow, the animals and ecosystems around them, their traditions and beliefs, and the ways Christians have lived and served within those communities.
Notebooking pages, maps, paper dolls, memory work, art projects, and a year-long Passport Program give children meaningful ways to respond to what they're learning while creating a memorable journey around the world together.
GEOGRAPHY + CULTURES AROUND THE WORLD
Travel through 12 countries while learning about geography, landmarks, languages, clothing, housing, agriculture, exports, ethnic groups, traditions, and everyday life.
Maps and student resources help children locate each country, recognize important geographical features, and gradually build a broader understanding of the continents and people who make up our world.
FAITH + CHRISTIAN MISSIONS
Each country study helps children remember that every person they encounter—whether across the street or across the globe—is an image-bearer of God.
Christian missions, Scripture memory, catechisms, stories of faith, and age-appropriate introductions to other world religions invite families to learn about both the spiritual needs of people around the world and the work of Christians who have served them.
HISTORY, NATURE + LIVING LEARNING
History, zoology, ecology, farming, and the natural world are woven into each country study so children can understand how geography affects the lives of the people, plants, and animals found there.
Rather than studying isolated facts, students encounter countries through interconnected stories and ideas that help the world feel vivid, memorable, and real.
ART, MUSIC, LITERATURE + HANDS-ON CONNECTIONS
Art, music, literature, drawing, painting, sculpting, observation, and creative projects allow children to experience each culture through beauty as well as information.
Notebooking pages, paper dolls, maps, Memory Statement Cards, and the Passport Program give students opportunities to narrate, illustrate, record, and revisit what they've learned throughout the year.
